Hanna Gaifman, with whom ties of friendship have linked me for over 30 years, was a piano student of Eliška Klein in in Prague. Unlike her brother Gideon Klein, who was murdered in Auschwitz-Fürstengrube, Eliška Klein survived the concentration camp.
